Ah a nice pan full of Fresh Peach Cobbler – made the old-fashioned way! Here’s how –
Heat oven to 375.
Melt 1/2 cup butter and place in bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 pan.
Mix 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 1 cup sugar and 3 tsp baking powder together until just mixed.
I used 7 fresh peaches, peeled, stoned and sliced into lemon water.
Then take the sliced peaches, add one cup sugar and 1 Tbs lemon juice in a sauce pan. Bring to boil on high heat, stirring constantly.
Pour peaches over crust mix – do not mix in. Here I added a tad bit of cinnamon and a healthy sprinkling of pecans.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown and serve warm or cold!
